The ontology files within this directory are the mouse developmental eVOC ontologies. Mouse development is divided into 28 Theiler Stages. Therefore, there are 28 ontologies (one for each stage of development) as well as an additional ontology for unclassifiable stages.

The ontologies have been derived from the Edinburgh Mouse Atlas Project (EMAP) and Mouse Anatomy (MA). The accession IDs of the EMAP and MA terms have been added to the eVOC ontologies as cross-references in the ontology formats which support them (currently GO Flat File, using DbXRef, and RDF, using suitable properties).
