Descriptions of the eVOC Data Mappings

Two groups of files are available for download from the eVOC Data Mappings page:

Annotated Ontologies

These are files containing eVOC ontologies which have been annotated with cDNA libraries. If you are downloading any of the data mappings (see below) you'll probably want to download at least one set of annotated ontologies. Each annotated ontology download file contains all ten ontologies.

Data Mappings

All the data mappings available for download link to the eVOC ontology terms via cDNA libraries. The data mapping files contain the links between the cDNA libraries and the data. The links from the cDNA libraries to the terms are available in the annotated ontologies (see above). If you are downloading a data mapping file you will almost certainly want to download at least one set on annotate ontologies too.

• ESTs
• Genes
• H-Inv cDNAs
• H-Inv Clusters
• RefSeq cDNAs
• UniGenes
